Frances Lederer and Margo (1937) He was a darkly-handsome matinee idol. She was the star of Lost Horizons. They stayed together at the Hotel while Lederer awaited a divorce from his wife.
Edward Cianelli (04/38) Sinister character-actor, he played a Nazi inquisitor in Hitchcock's "Foreign Correspondent."
Jose Iturbi (12/31/40-01/01/41) An actor and pianist grounded in Boulder City when his airplane broke down. The Hotel manager had a piano dragged up to Iturbi's suite so he could practice.

Milburn Stone (1950's) Gunsmoke's Doc kept his boat moored at Lake Mead.
Ferde Grofe (1950's) Composer of "Grand Canyon Suite," stayed frequently at the Hotel. He established residency there for a divorce. He composed "Sunrise Over Lake Mead" while at the Hotel, and stayed at the Hotel during concerts he gave in Las Vegas strip hotels.
